How to Cook Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients: 

2lbs (908g) Spaghetti Squash
2 Tbsp.( 30mL) Olive Oil
Optional
1 tsp.(5mL) Garlic Powder
1 tsp.(5mL) Chilli Powder And/Or 1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Method: 

Preheat the oven to 350 ºF.(180 ºC)

Cut the Spaghetti Squash in half length wise, and use a spoon to scrape out the core and seeds.

Place the two halves face up on a baking pan, and brush the inside of the squash with Olive Oil, and sprinkle seasonings over the top to taste

Bake at 350 ºF (180 ºC) for approximately 45 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.

Using an oven mitt hold a squash half with one hand, and using a fork begin to scrape the inside of the squash. It will start to fall out in strings, looking similar to very small spaghetti noodles.

Serve with your favourite spaghetti sauce…. Enjoy!
