Hants County Exhibition

11 am to 3 pm

The Incredible Picnic at the Hants County Exhibition is going to be a great day, and has all kinds of activities planned for all ages.  We will have a petting zoo, dog show, face painting, kids table with old fashioned toys, washer toss, live music with Jason C and Company (old time maritime music). There is also a 'show and shine' (old car show) on site for an additional fee.

We will also be giving away roses to the first 500 woman that come out to the Picnic! 

Not only is it going to be lots of fun, we have a great list off vendors offering a huge variety of local food.  Vendors will include:

Sainte - Famille Wines Ltd. 100 % Nova Scotia Wines
Shani's Farm - Preserves, All natural meats (lamb, pork, poultry) fresh local organic produce
Moon Fire Farm - Grilled Local Burgers, Soy Burgers, Sausage and Boiled Corn, local coffee and drinks, organic local produce.
Manning Family Farm - fresh local produce and hot house tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, etc.
Al's Homestyle Sausage - Local Sausage, Sauerkraut
Falmouth Fruit and Vegetables - local produce, bread, blueberry tarts, fruit pies, apple blossoms, sweets.
Bohemian Bubbles - goat milk soaps, bath bombs, lotions, and lip balms
Watercolours by Monica Cobb - book marks, greeting cards, unframed paintings
Nicole Earl Jewellery - necklaces, earrings, bracelets
Ada Crafts - jewellery, cat toys, dog treats
Edith Leopold - Hand drums, tippers and rattles made from local deer and wood
Colleen's Magnetic Jewellery
Horse and Garden Farm - local organic produce, baked goods, and prepared fresh salad
Down Home Deli - turkey sandwiches and baked goods.
Tropical Dreams - jewellery
Haliburton House Museum - kids table (old fashion toys for children to play with)
Lilies of the Valley - Locally Grown Flowers (Lilies, Roses, Bulbs and more)

*NOTE: In accordance with NS Liquor laws wine may be sampled at the event booths but wine, cider or other alcohol cannot be consumed at the picnic.
