Select Nova Scotia is a strategy developed by the Nova Scotia Departments of Agriculture (launched in Summer 2007) that creates partnerships with food producers, processors, retailers, foodservice and consumers to promote the sale and consumption of Nova Scotia grown and produced food. In building a Select Nova Scotia movement, we hope to expand and create new markets for local farms and farm-based businesses while also building a demand for local food products.
